We partner with trusted community centers, shelters, and afterschool programs that already provide safe, caring spaces for kids in need. These partnerships allow us to bring the celebration directly to the children with party supplies, healthy food, and all the fun included!
We also work closely with case workers, foster parents, teachers, law enforcement officers, CASA volunteers, and other nonprofits who serve children facing tough circumstances. When they know of a child who might otherwise be overlooked on their birthday, they reach out to us for a birthday box so that child can still feel remembered and celebrated.
We bring the party to the kids! We arrive with healthy snacks, festive décor, games, crafts, gifts, and treat bags. We transform the space into a joyful celebration, serve good food, and make sure every child with a birthday that month feels truly special.
Each birthday child gets to choose a present (valued at $15–$25) from our gift table, and every child leaves with a treat bag to take home…because everyone deserves a little birthday magic!
We don’t provide private parties or birthday boxes to the general public. Instead, we focus our resources on partnering with organizations that have already identified children who truly need our program. This helps us make the greatest impact where it’s needed most.
We only accept new items because we believe every child we serve deserves the same quality gifts and décor any of us would give our own children. If you’d like to donate new items, please contact Shelly here.
Yes! And we are deeply grateful for every gift! We truly couldn’t do this work without generous donors and companies who believe in what we do. For sponsorship opportunities, contact shelly@welovebirthdayparties.org. To make a donation, please visit here:
We love this question — and we’d love to have you involved! There are many meaningful ways people of all ages can help. Volunteers can make treat bags (we use about 250 each month!), organize toy drives, help serve food at parties, or assist with projects at our building, like organizing, cleaning, and small repairs. If you’re interested in getting involved, please complete the volunteer form below. We would be thrilled to connect with you
Yes, more than many people realize! Imagine being a child whose birthday passes with no acknowledgment at all. That can feel lonely and heartbreaking.
Birthdays are more than just cake and candles…they’re a meaningful moment that says, “You matter. You are loved. You belong.” When a child feels seen and celebrated, it builds hope, confidence, and a sense of worth that can carry them forward in life.
