We walk alongside children facing difficult circumstances — poverty, foster care, or the weight of the court system — and meet them with joy, tenderness, and belonging. Through meaningful birthday celebrations, we honor not just another year of life, but the beauty of who each child is and who they are becoming.

In these moments of light and laughter, we plant seeds of hope through encouraging words, affirmations, and joyful celebration, trusting that even small acts of kindness can take root in a child’s heart and grow into something lasting.

Our story
Meet Shelly:
I’ve always had a heart for kids and I loved raising my own two incredible children who, along with my awesome son-in-law, are now my favorite adults. I started We Love Birthday Parties when I realized not all kids have the love, guidance, and sense of purpose with which my husband and I raised our children. My faith guides me as I carry out my own calling…currently to bring resources, like birthday parties, to kids who, through no fault of their own, are dealing with some really hard situations, and to bring them hope for a brighter future. Gardening is my happy place and I enjoy canning and preserving the food I grow. Vanilla lattes are my favorite! I love to sleep, write, create and have fun!

Meet Heather:
I'm the momma of two amazing kids, a fantastic son-in-law, and an active dog named Rosie. I love Jesus, and helping others. My favorite hymn is I’ll Fly away. I workout regularly so I can eat cheese! I love to walk, hike, and garden. If I'm not outside I'm in the kitchen baking. My job title is "party leader" and I take it very serious! I'm terrified of roundabouts, like my steak well done, and wish Christmas was celebrated all year long. Pranking people might be one of my favorite hobbies!

I’ve been with We Love Birthday Parties for three years and I’m pretty sure I have the best job and co-workers (friends) in the world. My faith is really important to me, and I’m happily married and together we have six kids, one dog, and two cats who keep life interesting. I love coffee, fall is my favorite season, and I very much despise the cold. I’m an over-thinker and a good listener. I enjoy cleaning, organizing, and reading. I really appreciate people who can laugh at themselves, and my favorite quote is “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
